The Vivitar 28-90mm f2.8-3.5 Series 1 Macro Focusing lens is a well-made and versatile zoom lens. It features a range of focal lengths from a nicely wide 28mm to a portrait telephoto 90mm. The lens can be used a variety of conditions for many different photographic needs. It has a variable maximum aperture ranging from f2.8-f3.5. Additionally, this lens benefits from Vivitar's VMC multicoatings. It can also focus closer than your typical zoom lens with a minimum focusing distances of under 1 foot.
This lens has the Nikon AIS variant of the Nikon F lens mount. It is ideally suited for Nikon AI and AIS cameras but is also backwards compatible with Nikon Non-AI cameras.
